Summer 2008
The photo show Periwinkle ready for the water.
2008 wasn't a sailing year for Periwinkle, when she came out of the water her bottom and water line was so dirty from the lack of water rubbing on her hull ,weather was a main factor and the "va et vien" schedule of my two son becoming young men. But we enjoy the time we had with her.
This year i was able to use my club jib and boom (original sail plan of the boat)now i know how it feel to sail a balance sailboat.
We are going to get her ready for a trip up north (Tracadie,Caraquet,Baie des chaleurs)
next summer.

Periwinkle
Periwinkle
This is Periwinkle dock at my home town Tracadie marina, getting there from Val-Comeau was a bit tricky because of the chanal they dredge between the two lagoon or rivers, but it is a excelent small marina. with all the facility's close by like pub's convenient store farmer's market gas&diessel.
This is Periwinkle in the morning
anchored at the Big Tracadie river
near Val-Comau in
August 2005.
